Assessment
Internal tests in French at the end of 4P.
At Harmonie School, we offer “useful” homework. By useful, we mean that the homework must encourage the student’s autonomy. It is an important learning process that the student must prepare and acquire as he/she progresses through school.
Homework will be an opportunity to put into practice all the learning strategies learned in the cognition workshop.
This homework will be spread out over the week and will not take more than one hour.
The aim is to consolidate learning and it will also be a very good way for both the teacher and the student to see what needs to be worked on.
A “useful” assignment would be a short reading with a few comprehension questions, but also a reading in which 10 verbs are conjugated in the present tense, a riddle, a short research.
However, there will never be homework to finish because the work is not finished in class.
Homework should remain a pleasure for the student and the most important thing is that they understand its usefulness in their learning.
